Slugging

Every now and then a trend arises that is considered revolutionary. Hitchhiking in the seventies, Ride-Sharing in the nineties, and now Slugging.
When a commuter (Slug) in DC does not want to ride public transit, or to drive, they may wait at a set location where they will be propositioned by a person in a car. The driver usually wishes to get another body into the car so that they can drive in the HOV lane. The offer will be a destination only, and the commuter will get into the vehicle of the person going his way. Born of an encounter of cheapness with poor planning; this trend has risen and developed its own fratish rules.

Rule #1 Slugs do not talk.

The Woes of Vista - Preformed by Apple

Now, I’m not an Apple fan. I would prefer to use WindowsXP or even a Unix based system. But I have had to deal with Windows Vista on my sisters computer and so far I’m not a big fan, so here’s a little fun at Vistas expense.

Because of all the problems with Vista in the last 11 months since it’s release some people are asking to switch back to XP. I would be one of them until all the bugs are worked out of Vista in 3 years

We need a change in politics. Americans are sick of dirty politics and want to hear a candidate speak on the issues instead of giving 15 second sound clips to the media. That is why Republican Fred Thompson is an excellent choice for President. He's not concerned about getting his 15 second sound clip; instead, he wants to make sure the American people understand his positions and why they are important in the next eight years. He's been consistent on his positions from day one. He stands for the protection of our national security, including the borders of our country. He wants continued prosperity for our country by continuing and creating policies that will build our economy and make it better for us, our children and the legal immigrants who want to join our nation. He supports life and marriage. And most important of all, he believe in the freedom of U.S. citizens and their ability to achieve great things.
