American Gladiators

If you are a fan of outrageous television you will be excited to learn that NBC is reviving their American Gladiator series. American Gladiators originally aired from 1989-96 and featured muscle bulging gladiators named Nitro, Malibu, Zap, Sunny, Lace, and Gemini squaring off against firefighters, police officers, ex-millitary and average Joe’s that think they can best the gladiators in physical events. The new series is returning with a new cast of gladiators for the battles of Davids vs. Goliaths. This contestants will face Fury, Crush, Militia, Mayhem, Justice, Siren, Stealth, Titan, Wolf, who looks like he should be in the movie Dodgeball, or if your really unfortunate Hellga, the 6′1″ 205lbs. female gladiator that as a child was dropped in a vat of steroids. To top off the cheesy return of this outdated concept the new American Gladiators will be hosted by Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali (Muhamad Ali’s daughter).
