Now I have to rethink your gift...lol. Great comments on gift buying. All to often we forget the person amidst the gift. Though I would qualify your position on effort being equal to thought. If your thinking just any thought than your statement is true, but if your a thinking of the other person, then you can put a lot of effort into something they will dislike or have little interest in.
