I think Vista comes with a transfer program to transfer stuff from your old computer if you really want to - you may be better just starting from scratch though and just copy your "my documents" across Lightscribe discs are nice (but the blanks are expensive and they take forever to draw the picture (if you do a complicated one)) but the end results look good.
